Keep a Good Work Ethic

When I was applying for jobs, I was desperate, I needed a job, and I wanted one as soon as possible. So, when you are in that state of searching for a job, you write so many wonderful things in your CV/resume. We say that we are hardworking, diligent, innovative, creative, etc. We give ourselves all these good adjectives just to get the job that we desire.

We immediately forget about all these nice adjectives when we eventually get a job. But I think that we must remember the things we wrote in our CV when we were looking for that employment.

It is important we remember them because they can make us maintain our job and even rise through the ranks faster. Keeping a good work ethic will also build our own character and attitude. When we form a bad attitude towards work, it will definitely affect us in the future. Keep a good work ethic to maintain your job.

Perfect is the Enemy of Good

I am typically not a perfectionist but sometimes there is the tendency to ensure that the things I am working on are almost perfect before I show them to the outside world. This delays the work significantly. We must sometimes just let the good go otherwise no one will ever see the good not to talk of the perfect.

Sometimes we want to get everything perfect before we show it to the outside world. This makes us go over the work several times when it is even good to go.

We should not let our desire for perfect things prevents us from showing the already good work. Do not let perfect become the enemy of good.
