The world has been thrown into a state of fear and panic among the most powerful nations. The fear of COVID-19 has generated huge budgets now to contain the disease. Why this fear? The disease is now in several countries spreading like wide fire. The big, the mighty, the little and small are all threatened. The presence of this disease is collapsing economies and bringing the once-powerful nations to their knees. Schools are closing down and workplaces are becoming empty.

interestingly, science and technological advancement have not been able to deal with this disease yet. We are told that it will take sometime before we get a vaccine for this COVID-19. Meanwhile, we do not have any cure for the disease yet.

As we can see, science and technology would always be limited. As humans, we have our limitations. We are not all-knowing as some scientists would want us to believe sometimes. Despite the explosion of knowledge, we are still challenged in dealing with this disease.

Christians must ignite hope to the fearful world. We have a sure WORD for this disease. We cannot fold our hands and cry with the fearful world. When Paul was in that ship and there were challenges, he assured the people with him that the God he serve would deliver them and God preserved their lives. We know the source of this disease. Scientists may have their source and would want to justify that, but we know that Satan is the source of all diseases.

Let us go back to the WORD and reflect on Luke 10:19 and Psalm 91. We must assure the world with these scriptures. We must let the world know that the cure is the WORD. Scientists can go ahead with their research, we can also come around with faith and hope in the WORD. There is a name that is above every other name including COVID-19. Jesus is the name. When we mention the name of JESUS, every other name will bow.

AS CHRISTIANS, WE MUST IGNITE FAITH AND HOPE TO ASSUAGE THE FEARFUL WORLD.

Success comes to the most passionate and ready to do everything possible to succeed. I mean everything possible ethically. You must be passionate to succeed. Answer these questions in your solemn moment.

1. How passionate (desperate) am I for success?
2. How passionate (desperate) am I to transform my current situation where money is not something I worry about?
3. How passionate (desperate) am I to change the way my family lives?
4. How passionate am I to achieve the needed financial muscle to be blessing to the church and others?

Passion (desperation) is always the game-changer. I must be passionate about changing the way I live and that of my family. I am changing my life now. Either I change the way I live or keep quiet.

Growth has never been automatic. Growth must always be intentional. Intentional means you plan and make effort to grow. You decide that you need to grow. Success in all spheres of life can only be achieved with intentional growth. Do you desire success, then you must be intentional about your growth.

Decide today that you will be intentional about your growth. You must plan to attend seminars (online), read books and listen to podcasts consistently to grow intentionally.

Growth should be in the area of choice and skill. Choice means attitude and skill may be your work i.e. to improve on some skills for your work.

If you have no job, then you develop your attitude and acquire certain skills that enhance your chances of getting your dream job.

Capacity is important for every aspect of our life. We must always think about our increasing our capacity in all areas of our life. This is because if we fail to build and increase our capacity in certain areas, those areas may affect other areas.

Build your spiritual capacity. Spiritual capacity is very important. Life is more spiritual than physical. It is therefore wise to build and increase spiritual capacity everyday. How do you build and increase spiritual capacity? We need to have time to pray, time to read the Bible, and time to read Christian literature. These are things you do personally to build and increase your spiritual capacity. This is the first to do before you consider other areas of your life.

Build your mental and physical capacity. How do you build mental capacity? We must read good books to train our minds. Read, read and read. We must read good books, I mean Christian literature, business books and other fiction and non-fiction books. Reading increases your knowledge is certain areas, build your confidence and also enhances your vocabulary.

Build financial capacity. Building financial is important because we live in an economic world and money is needed to make life comfortable. How do you build financial capacity? Read financial books. Again, read, read and read. After reading, practice. Put to use what you have read. When you start practicing what you have read, you become more confident in managing your finances and planning for your future.
